Conversation with a Poet | Episode 6 with Alisan Skenderi

This episode is a conversation with a poet, Alisan. A young man full of courage and dreams, an activist, and a change-maker at heart. You'll find out all of this and more by listening to our episode.

Where voices blend into a symphony of stories, there lies a gem that sparks with the vibrant colors of poetry and activism. It's not every day that we stumble upon a narrative so enriched with passion, courage, and dreams. Yet, here we are, on the brink of sharing a conversation that paints just such a picture. Our latest episode features a young poet named Alisan—a name that, in the time it takes to whisper, promises to leave an indelible mark on your heart.

Alisan isn't just any poet. He is a young man bursting at the seams with courage and dreams, an activist who crafts his words with the precision of a master sculptor, chiseling away at the marble of societal norms to reveal the beauty of change underneath. He is a change-maker at heart, whose verses flow with the powerful force of a river carving its path through the mountains.

Some poetry by Alisan (Lesson, Life is a Poem, Lafizava, Who are They):

LIFE IS A POEM

It's a prelude when we born.
It's a ballad when we rise.
It's a sonnet when we develop.
It's an epic when we win.
It's a hymn when we fall.
It's a verse when we pray.
It's a lyric when we plan.
It's an Ode when we marry.
It's a rhyme when we chase.
It's a song which we sing again & again.
LIFE is as soft as POEM, dont make it difficult by unnecessary desires.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Integer at leo id lacus sagittis finibus eu ac tortor. In et ex orci. In orci arcu, condimentum non vulputate ut, molestie et dolor.

Sar i kapka e panjeski bi tena perel,
Sar jek manush bi tena achol te asal
Sar o nilaj bi e khamesko

Who are they?

White and black
Big and small
Sad but they sing
They walk without feet
They fly without wings
They talk with music
Who are they?
How many are there?
They live without a country
They die with the whole world

You'll find yourself captivated by his original poetry, which echoes the depths of his soul and the height of his aspirations.

We've also got a treat for your ears—some of Alisan's original poetry, which, I promise, will touch your soul in ways you didn't think possible. And because no artist exists in a vacuum, Alisan shares the music and poets that light up his world and influence his craft.

Here you can find a few more songs Alisan has shared with us: Gipsy Groove-tutti frutti, Saban Bajramovic-opa cupa, Saban Bajramovic-pira mange korkoro, Saban Bajramovic- geljan dade, Saban Bajramovic- i barval pudela, Opa Tsupa - Les deux Guitares, Two Guitars - Russian Gypsy Music.

And also, his favourite poet Kujtim Paçaku.

Alisan's inspiration doesn't just spring from within; it is also fed by the streams of music and poetry that have touched his life. In this episode, you'll get a glimpse into the muses that dance in the background of his mind, guiding his pen across the blank canvas of possibility.

This episode is a doorway to understanding the power of poetry and activism, a blend that can truly change the world. Check it out, and let your heart be moved by the rhythms of change and the melody of dreams yet to come.
